The 51-year-old actor has joined hands with the UN Refugee Agency to support the refugees fleeing war-torn Syria, as well as to research the crisis as a whole in the country that hosts over one million displaced and uprooted individuals, reported People magazine.
"At the end of one of the many unbearably heart-breaking stories of the violence, persecution and humiliation the Syrian refugees have escaped from, I threw my arms around a young woman who had just shared her world with me.

During his two day long trip the actor traveled to northern and southern Lebanon to meet with refugees and listen to first-hand stories of those forced to flee their homes.
