Bengali daily soap ‘Meyebela’ marks the television comeback of senior artist
Roopa Ganguly. She has been busy with her political commitments for quite some time and kept herself mostly away from the limelight. The Bengali daily soap has a female-centric story which revolves around Bithika, a housewife who dedicated her life for the well-being of her family and mostly stayed within the periphery of her house.
While an easily relatable story and performance of the cast managed to strike a chord with the audience, the makers are not shying away from adding more drama to the on-going track. The current track is progressing with Nirjhar and Mou’s proposed wedding. While rituals of wedding are on full swing, not everything is alright in Nirjhar’s life. He is in love with Chandni, but due to some unavoidable circumstances, he has to marry female protagonist Mou. And this triangular love story is set to add some high voltage drama in the wedding track.
Chandni decides to handover the ornament to its rightful owner, that is Mou. She (Chandni) had received the piece of ornament from Nirjhar’s mom Bithika as a token of love when she was supposed to get married to him. Bithika is fond of Chandni too and can realise the emotional trauma she (Chandni) is going through. Things take a critical turn when Nirjhar goes to drop Chandni home and she falls unwell on the way. His family waits for Nirjhar to comeback so that the wedding rituals can start.
With this track, there is no doubt that Meyebela’s upcoming episode will dish out some major drama. It will be also interesting to see how the new twist helps the show in terms of TRP.
In the recently launched daily soap Swikriti plays Mou’s character while
Arpan Ghoshal essays Nirjhar’s character. Debaparna Paul Chowdhury, on the other hand, is playing Chandni’s character.
