The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday arrested Banaswadi police inspector GH munikrishna after he was caught accepting bribe from a businessman at his chamber in the police station.

Workers of Veecrew, the firm hired by Chilume Educational and Rural Development Institute to conduct illegal house surveys and electoral revision work in one ward in Bengaluru, had approached Mahadevapura police on November 10 seeking help in getting their salaries released.

A special court in Central Prison, Parappana Agrahara, on Thursday sentenced to life five members of the dreaded Dandupalya gang, in relation to the murder of Geetha, in Kamakshipalya police limits in November 2000.
