Indian cricket fans got a sweet revenge on March 4 after the Indian team reached the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. It appeared as if wounds of the 2023 World Cup loss to Australia on November 19 got healed as the Indian cricket team recorded a tense four-wicket victory over Australia in the first semi-final. Virat Kohli starred with a trademark innings, making a polished 84. Set a target of 265 for victory, India lost old Kohli in the closing overs but KL Rahul's unbeaten 42 steered the team home with 11 balls to spare at the Dubai International Stadium. India will now play the winner of the second semifinal between New Zealand and South Africa, set to be played in Lahore on March 5, in the final on March 9 in Dubai.
