Elon Musk slammed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for suggesting that the end of Russia’s war against Ukraine is still likely “very, very far away.” He called it "Evil". "Zelensky wants a forever war, a never-ending graft meat grinder. This is evil," he wrote. This post quoted Donald Trump's post that slammed Zelensky's assertion that an agreement to end the war remained distant. US President Trump called it "the worst statement that could have been made" by him.
Elon Musk then went on to share his two-year-old post where he had warned of Ukrainian and Russian youth dying in trenches in the ongoing war. "My post below was almost 2 years ago. Stop sending men to die for nothing. ENOUGH!!," Tesla CEO wrote. The Twitter post from 2023 that he shared, read: 'The flower of Ukrainian & Russian youth are dying in trenches, with no meaningful change in territory.'

Elon Musk had earlier said, "Zelensky wants a forever war, because he loses his spotlight on the international stage as soon as peace is achieved."


Talking to media post the open showdown with Donald Trump in White House last week, Zelensky said that discussions were still focusing on the "first steps," adding: "An agreement on ending the war is very, very far away". This comment angered US President Trump, making him openly slam Zelensky.
