Takashi Miike's upcoming directorial, ‘Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo’. The
WWE star will be joining the likes of Shun Oguri and
Lily James and is rumored to have a significant role in the film. Having made a name for herself in the wrestling world, Morgan seems ready to take on Hollywood like many of her predecessors.
Liv Morgan joins the cast of ‘Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo’
As per Deadline, WWE star
Liv Morgan, born Gionna Jene Daddio, is the next star from the world of wrestling to transition to Hollywood. While she already has 'The Kill Room' in her filmography, her upcoming venture, ‘Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo,’ will see her in a more prominent role, where she will be playing a politician's missing daughter. Morgan had recently said that she would be taking some time off of wrestling for an outside project, and this seems to be it.
The movie is set to begin production in May, with Neon looking to represent the international sales rights in Cannes later this month during the film festival. After Abel Ferrara's Bad Lieutenant (1992) and Werner Herzog's Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009), the upcoming movie also follows the story written by Daisuke Tengan and is said to be a reinterpretation of the original IP.

With numerous classics under his belt, director Takashi Miike is ready to take a spin on the Bad Lieutenant IP. Talking about it, Miike said (via ):
