Triple H was the first name announced to be joining the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025. Since then, the likes of Michelle McCool and Lex Luger have joined him in the Class of 2025. And now, three other names - wrestling legends Kamala, Dory Funk Sr., and Ivan Koloff have been added to the WWE Hall of Fame as the Legacy inductees of 2025. All of them will be inducted into the famed legacy posthumously.
Who are the three Legacy inductees of 2025?
Ivan Koloff, known as "the Russian Bear," was the third wrestler in history to hold the WWWF Championship. He debuted in 1963 and finally retired from the entertainment sport in 2013. Unfortunately, we lost him to liver cancer in February of 2017.
Dory Funk Sr. loved wrestling so much that he died of a heart attack while demonstrating a wrestling hold at his home in Texas. The wrestling star died earlier in life, only at the age of 54, while he was still a regular in the industry in 1973.
Kamala "the Ugandan Giant," was best known for his wild appearance during his wrestling days. He made his entrance in a loincloth, with his face and body painted, having two stars painted on his chest and a moon painted on his stomach. The wrestling legend died of a cardiac episode after getting infected by the COVID-19 virus in 2020.
