The WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event has sparked massive online controversy after John Cena and Cody Rhodes’ feud, which occurred as The American Nightmare rejected The Rock’s proposal to sell his soul and join his team.
Rhodes was brutally attacked by Cena after he joined hands with The Rock during the event. The controversy further escalated when Travis Scott joined the bandwagon and thrashed Rhodes across his ear, leaving him severely injured in a pool of blood.
This entire situation has received massive outrage from fans and many WWE superstars, as Cena turned heel for the first time and Travis Scott has been held responsible for hurting Rhodes badly, bursting his eardrum.
However, the American Nightmare has not spoken about it yet and will appear on the Friday edition of WWE SmackDown. Besides fans, Cody Rhodes’ brother and sister have reacted to the situation and vehemently condemned John Cena and the Rock’s actions at the premium live event. Here’s what the duo has said—

Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes’ family members have broken their silence on the brutal attack by John Cena and Travis Scott. Brandi Rhodes, who has accompanied Cody Rhodes during past WrestleMania entrances, reacted to John Cena’s actions and expressed her disappointment in joining hands with The Final Boss.
Brandi took to her ‘X’ account to express her dissent at John Cena turning heel and making her brother suffer. Rhodes’ sister wrote: “John Cena Sucks.”

Apart from Brandi, AEW star and Cody Rhodes’ brother, Dustin Rhodes, has also condemned and expressed his dissent over the brutality that they displayed at the event. Following the show, Dustin posted on ‘X’ about the moment, lashing out at both Cena and The Rock for what they did to his baby brother. Dustin wrote: "Shame on you !!! BOTH OF YOU!!" with an angry emoji.

Meanwhile, WWE has officially confirmed the final match between Cody Rhodes and John Cena at the upcoming WrestleMania 41, which is slated to start on April 19. However, both Cena and Rhodes have not spoken about the recent PLE feud.

Earlier, John Cena refused to speak to the press when asked about the situation. Cena did not utter a word, dropped the mic, and left the spot without providing any explanation. Cody Rhodes will appear on Friday's SmackDown event. Fans are waiting for Rhodes to finally open up about the situation in the WWE event.
