Micah Parsons has earlier drawn comparisons to football legends like Lawrence Taylor, but one of his teammates gave him the ultimate compliment and compared him to an icon. On Tuesday evening, Parsons took to social media to share a personal thought about possibly going bald this season. This isn’t necessarily linked to his performance on the field but could be a cheeky quip about his anxiety around hair loss.

Why was Micah Parsons compared to the legendary Michael Jordan?

Though Micah Parsons was not fishing for compliments, his teammate Trevon Diggs gave him a rather big one and commented ‘Michael Jordan’ on the tweet. Diggs was obviously referencing the iconic shaved head look that Michael Jordan sported for much of his career but it’s possible he was also hyping up Parsons through the sneaky compliment.

The Cowboys selected Micah Parsons with the 12th overall pick in 2021, Micah Parsons has made a remarkable impact in just four years in the league, racking up 52.5 quarterback sacks. He is currently in discussions to become the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL.
Recently, the Colorado Buffaloes held their Pro Day, featuring Shedeur Sanders as one of the main draws. Reactions to him were divided; some view him as a generational talent, while others believe he could be a risky choice for any NFL team. One thing is clear: the debates about Shedeur aren't going away anytime soon.

Parsons was also recently in the news for slamming Darius Slayton, the New York Giants’ wide receiver. Recently a video surfaced showing some of Shedeur Sanders' throws during the Pro Day on April 4. Analyst John Frascella noted that the young quarterback appeared to be "double tapping" the ball and Slayton took to social media to make a comparison to Tom Brady: "Tom Brady, literally the king of quick throws, also tapped the ball before releasing. So no, tapping the ball doesn't make a difference."
Micah Parsons, who had already been in a back-and-forth with Slayton, didn’t hold back in his response, saying, "Comparing the greatest quarterback of all time to Sanders is exactly why I'll never take a football conversation with you seriously! What are we even doing here!?"
