Our client believed the plaintiff to be over 18 and had no idea she would claim otherwise until 35 years later," Scott's attorney, Linda Bauermeister, told Daily Mail.
"He respects girls and women, and the claims have blindsided him and his family ."The lawsuit details that when staff and parents were asked to leave the gym during filming, Scott reportedly pointed at Dylan and said "she can stay."After the filming concluded, Scott asked Dylan for a tour of the school's gym facilities. Scott allegedly oered her a ride home while discouraging her from telling anyone about what happened. When Scott asked ateammate to take Dylan home instead, the teammate reportedly refused, saying, "F--k, no. I'm not putting that girl in my car." Dylan ultimately called her mother from a payphone to get picked up.Scott was married to his rst wife, Anita Scott, at the time of the alleged assault.
