Recently, the Detroit Lions coach,
Dan Campbell, has spoken out at the 2025 NFL annual meeting. He is no stranger to the world of football.
He has been trained and coached under Sean Payton with the New Orleans Saints. In the 2021 season, he took over the Detroit Lions and hired defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn and passing game coordinator Ben Johnson.
“We’ll be fine,” Dan Campbell says he is not at all stressed after losing two coordinators
Speaking at the NFL annual meeting, he said, “We’ll be fine.
We’ll be fine.” “Everybody knows how I feel about these coaches that have been here and been part of this. I’m happy for them. They’re moving on, and I wish them the best.”
“But John Morton stepping in as offensive coordinator, somebody I know, I trust, I’ve been around, I mentioned this before. He was here when we built this thing back up in ’22. And then Kelvin Sheppard’s been here, man,” he further added.
Campbell’s confident behavior described that he is not worrying or stressing much, but believes in a turnover. The 2025 season does not seem to be bringing many colors to the Lions.
With the exit of the two top guns, Aaron Glenn took over as the head coach of the New York Jets, and Ben Johnson took over as the head coach of the Chicago Bears.
“So it’s not like it'll be starting from scratch with somebody I don’t know ... so I see this thing moving pretty quick,” Campbell further said at the annual meeting.
“There'll be a couple of bumps in the road, we'll have to work out some kinks, but it'll be kind of fresh and new actually and I think we're all excited [for] that,” he further added.
The Detroit Lions is known to be one of the best teams who has marked history with its scores- 15-2 but was knocked out by the Washington Commanders.
