India's win in the Champions Trophy last week has been celebrated throughout the country, and India Post has added its personal touch to it with a special gesture.
Amitabh Singh, Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Circle, on Tuesday released a distinctive postal cancellation mark (used to invalidate postal stamps and stationary) commemorating Indian cricket team's triumph in the ICC Champions Trophy.
India defeated New Zealand in the final by four wickets on March 9 to lift their third Champions Trophy title after 2013 and 2002, when they shared the trophy with Sri Lanka after a washout.

The unique cancellation marking, which honours India's title win, was unveiled at the Mumbai General Post Office (GPO), according to an India Post press statement. It stands as a recognition of the team's success and represents a valuable addition for both cricket enthusiasts and stamp collectors.
Special cancellations are available for the public at Mumbai GPO.
The final saw India restricting New Zealand to 251 for 7 despite half-centuries by Daryl Mitchell (63) and all-rounder Michael Bracewell (53 not out). For India, spinners Kuldeep Yadav (2/40) and Varun Chakravarthy (2/45) took two wickets each to lead the bowling attack.
India's chase was set up by a fine 105-run opening stand between skipper Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill (31). While Gill, Virat (1) and Rohit (76) were dismissed quickly after that, leaving India at 122 for 3, Shreyas Iyer (48) and Axar Patel (29) stitched a 61-run stand, followed by KL Rahul's 34 not out, which ensured India avoided anymore hiccups before being crowned champions.
