Apex Legends Three Strikes Mystery Legends is a modified version of the original Three Strikes LTM that was first released as part of the Post Malone crossover in Season 19. The rules of Apex Legends Three Strikes Mystery Legends are very similar to the original Three Strikes LTM. Teams of three players drop into the map from the drop ship in a battle royale match. Unlike traditional battle royale, however, when a player dies in Three Strikes, they immediately respawn from the drop ship to get right back into the action. This happens thrice, essentially granting the player three lives in a single battle royale match. The game mode also features faster revives and invincibility when knocked.

While in regular three strikes, players choose their legends before the match, in Three Strikes Mystery Legends, a random legend is chosen for the player. Additionally, when a player dies, he respawns with a different legend every time, hence the name ‘Mystery’. One interesting aspect to this mode is that any upgrade to your EVO shield is carried over to the new legend you respawn with, consequently granting you all the unlocked perks of the new legend.
