ASIA CUP 2023

The pinnacle of Asian cricket. The Asia Cup returns to entertain cricket lovers across Asia with a more exciting and bamboozled experience. It will be the first time the Asia Cup will be co-hosted by multiple countries (Pakistan and Sri Lanka) where four matches will be played in Pakistan, and the remaining nine matches will be played in Sri Lanka. This will be the 16th edition of the Asia Cup which will be played in ODI format. The defending champions Sri Lanka will look forward to retaining the title whereas the tournament favourites India will look forward to regaining the title for the 8th time. All six teams are divided into two groups. Group A consists of India, the host nation Pakistan, and Nepal whereas in Group B, it is the host nation Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. The first match of the Asia Cup 2023 will be played between the host nation Pakistan and Nepal on August 30. The most awaited game, India vs Pakistan will be played on September 2 at Pallekele International Stadium, Kandy. On September 4, the tournament favourites India will face Nepal in their second game of the group. The top-2 teams from each group will qualify for the Super-4 round where all 4 teams will lock horns and the top-2 teams will face each other in the final.
