OpenAI CEO Sam Altman reshares ghibli-style images of PM Modi

As the internet has gone frenzy over Ghibli-styled images, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has garnered a lot of praise. In the wake of the trend, government of India recently shared a series of Ghibli-style pictures of PM Modi and some of his key moments from his tenure. Now, Altman has reshared those images on Tuesday.
Altman reshared the pictures posted by the government of India on X. In an AI-generated image, PM Modi can be seen holding the Indian flag. While other pictures recreate moments from his diplomatic meetings with US President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron.

Altman also reshared similar AI-generated visuals posted by India Post.

As the Ghibli trend has fueled another level of excitement in people, ChatGPT registered "one million users in five days", according to Altman.
He further said, "we added one million users in the last hour."
Earlier on Monday, OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT announced that it is building a more open generative AI model amid growing competition from Chinese rival DeepSeek and Meta.
