“I'm in a serious relationship”: Aaron Rodgers confirms romance on The Pat McAfee Show months after calling out media attention

Aaron Rodgers, the NFL veteran, has tried to mostly keep his relationships and girlfriends away from the media but has been unable to do so. The NFL veteran has been in the news in the last few weeks related to his free agency. With NFL Draft being just a few days away, his free agency has been concerning to fans. Aaron Rodgers recently appeared on the popular show, The Pat McAfee Show, and he shocked fans by speaking about his relationship.


In The Pat McAfee Show, former NFL player and host, Pat McAfee said, “Ever since the free agency started, in the last two months, there has been a lot of buzz. You know, you’re holding teams hostage with not giving them an answer…”
As Pat McAfee probed Aaron Rodgers about the reason behind delaying his decision for the upcoming season of the NFL, the NFL veteran nodded and then shocked fans with his revelation.
Aaron Rodgers said, “I'll set it all straight. From the jump, I'm in a different phase of my life, I'm 41 years old, I'm in a serious relationship…”
The NFL veteran added, “I have personal commitments I've made... and people in my inner circle battling difficult stuff. To make a commitment to a team is a big thing.”
While Aaron Rodgers did not name his girlfriend, it has been shocking since he has always tried to keep his dating life private.
Back in December 2024, when the documentary around Aaron Rodgers' life, Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, was released, the NFL veteran made a statement about privacy around his relationship.
The four time MVP said in the documentary, "I didn’t do myself any favors with some of the girls I dated [who] were in the public eye. I enjoyed my private life” and even went on to say he “despised” the attention his high profile relationships had gotten in the last few years.


Currently, Aaron Rodgers is rumoured to be in a relationship with an old friend of his, Mallory Edens, as per People.
The two have been spotted together since January 2023 and Mallory Edens is also a part of the world of professional sports since she is the daughter of a primary owner of the famous basketball team, the Milwaukee Bucks, as per People.
Apart from Mallory Edens, Aaron Rodgers has been rumoured to be in high profile relationships with famous actress Olivia Munn, actress Shailene Woodley, race car driver Danica Patrick, among others.
Coming back to his free agency, Aaron Rodgers still has not cleared the confusion and also added on The Pat McAfee show that retirement “could be an option”. It remains interesting to see what would Aaron Rodgers end up deciding with the upcoming season of the NFL being a few months away.
