The first single of the Telugu remake of Sanjiv Reddy’s ‘ABCD’ (American Born Confused Desi), starring
Allu Sirish and
Rukshar Dhillon in lead roles released on Wednesday.
Titled ‘Mella Mellaga’, the song composed by Judah Sandhy has vocals by
Sid Sriram and Aditi Bhavaraju, with lyrics by Krishna Kanth. The song was released at an event attended by ‘Suryakantham’ actress Niharika Konidela in Hyderabad where Sid Sriram performed live.
Releasing the song after its launch on social media, Allu Sirish wrote, “Hello tweeps! ABCD's first single "Mella Mellaga" is out now. Do hear it it & lemme know how you feel.” (sic)
Posting a video before the launch, Sid Sriram too had said that he couldn’t wait for his fans to listen to the number. Rukshar Dhillon too had posted, “Tomorrow is the day Hyderabad. I’m sure this will be yet another favourite by @sidsriram @judahsandhy. See you’ll there.” (sic) The lyrical video which sees stills and clips of the lead pair from the film is adorable, so is the funky music. Sid Sriram nails the vocals as usual, so does Aditi Bhavaraju and Krishna Kanth’s lyrics are apt to talk about the flush of falling in love.
'Mella Mellaga' has received good response and it remains to be seen how the rest of the jukebox will fare.
