She acknowledged Samara's interest in maintaining her account but advised her not to let negative comments affect her, suggesting that anyone, even a house help, could be behind those remarks.

As soon as the old video made its way onto social media, netizens slammed Riddhima for her 'house help' comment. One user said, 'Insanely unnecessary, classist/elitist, and even senseless… who and why would anyone use house help as an insult? Its an honest way of earning a living...'Another one added, 'Everything she said made sense except when she said househelp as a classist remark. Like house help is not supposed to be on social media and all trolls are from a class below them. If only she realised how much class hierarchy is baked into her thinking.'

Riddhima Kapoor is a talented jewelry designer. In 2006, she married Delhi businessman Bharat Sahni, and they welcomed their only child, daughter Samara, in 2011.
