It truly was music to the ears of those who’d gathered at the ongoing Busan International Film Festival. After all, the Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman performed live to the music of his pet project, 99 Songs, which he’s producing.
A source says, “AR Rahman has turned producer and writer with 99 Songs. The project is close to his heart and he’d announced that ahead of its release, the film will be screened at the Busan International Film Festival on October 9, and he’ll give the audience a glimpse of his musical love story by performing live at the festival.
And as promised, Rahman and team landed there on October 7. Director Vishewesh Krishnamorthy and actor
Ehan Bhat were also in Busan for the screening. The team walked the red carpet, and later, Rahman performed live to the music of 99 Songs, which left the audience spellbound; it was also live-streamed on social media. The team also clicked a selfie with over 3500 audience present at the venue.”
