Rafi and K B Ganesh Kumar to act in Dileep’s next

Filmmaker Rafi recently proved that he can not only churn out laughter-riot movies, but as an actor he can make people laugh too! After Ringmaster, Rafi is all set to don the greasepaint again, for Sudheesh Shankar’s film. The movie has Dileep, Namitha Pramod and Mythili in lead roles. Former minister-cum-actor K B Ganesh Kumar also plays an interesting role in the film.
“We have not named the film yet. Previously, there were reports about the movie being christened Njanara Mon. I would like to clarify that we had never taken up that title and it belongs to another project by a different team,” Sudheesh explains. The film is set in Thodupuzha and has a number of Kollywood actors and technicians as part of it, including Vamsi, Seetha and music composer S A Rajkumar. Kalabhavan Shajon, Sai Kumar, Vinaya Prasad, Manju Raghav, Sidhique, Nedumudi Venu and Neena Kurup are some of the others actors in the film.
“Dileep will play Chinnan, a common man who sells vegetables, and Namitha Pramod will play an ad filmmaker. Mythili’s character is someone who influences Dileep in a positive way in the story,” says Sudheesh.
