After having hit the strides very recently, team 'Ranganayaka' has roped in popular Telugu/Tamil TV actress
Rachitha Mahalakshmi to play the film's female lead. Rachitha shared a few stills from the sets of the
Guruprasad directorial as the proceedings got underway a couple of days ago on an auspicious note.
Incidentally, this will be Rachitha Mahalakshmi's second Kannada outing after having made her debut alongside Guruprasad in a different film; the other yet-untitled film has been directed by Guruprasad who also stars as its lead.
She will be paired with
Jaggesh's character in 'Ranganayaka'.

'Ranganayaka' will mark the third collaboration between Jaggesh and Guruprasad after 'Matha' and 'Eddelu Manjunatha'. Despite being two of the closest associates at one point, Jaggesh and Guruprasad had a falling out for a brief period which led to them not choosing to work with one another. However, the bridges were mended eventually and the much-awaited collaboration is back to doing what it does best. Vikhyath A.R. is producing 'Ranganayaka'.
Guruprasad, on the other hand, has taken up to acting quite keenly and even starred as the lead in Vikram Yoganand's 2020 film 'Kushka'. Known for his eccentricities in the near circles, Guruprasad has proven to be a popular figure nevertheless whose work still warrants public curiosity - he last directed 'Eradane Sala' in 2017 starring
Dhananjaya and Sangeetha Bhat.
