Priyanka Chopra just cut ties with one man, says Madhu Chopra as she opens up on her daughter's bad relationships and how she dealt with it: 'He deserved it'

Priyanka Chopra's mother Madhu Chopra has just always been by her side in every situation. While the actress was quite close to her father, he passed away in 2013, leaving a huge void in her life. She often has said that she still misses him and one can never come to terms with the death of their parent. But PC's mom Madhu has always been by her side during career struggles, tough times and during bad break-ups.
In a recent interview, Madhu Chopra has opened up on Priyanka's bad relationships and how she dealt with it. Sh revealed that Priyanka usually transforms negative incidents into positive ones. she said during a chat with Lehren Retro, "She gets it from her father. He would never entertain negativity. He would find solace in music. Priyanka retreats into her room, does something, and comes out transformed. There are so many people in this world who will dislike you; you need to stay away from them. One mustn’t add more negative people in one’s life. This was her father’s attitude, and Priyanka is exactly the same," revealed Madhu.
She further added that Priyanka can handle every situation and she doesn't really just cut a person from her life, unless the relationship is just irreparable. Madhu further said during this chat with Bharathi S Pradhan for Lehren Retro, “She can handle all kinds of situations, but she also has an opposite side to her personality. If she dislikes someone… Cut, cut, cut. This only happens when the relationship is irreparable. It’s happened only once, where the relationship was irreparable, and he deserved it. But I haven’t seen this happen otherwise." A while ago, Priyanka had admitted that she was really heartbroken when a six-year relationship of hers ended with a heartbreak. When asked to comment on it, PC's mom said she doesn't know what exactly Priyanka was referring to.
Madhu added, "Every relationship is for the better or the worse… She never showed that she was suffering. She was working 24/7. If dad was around, perhaps she would’ve spoken to him, but she doesn’t really tell me these things. Many times, just like my father used to say to me. Mujhe koi nahi uske liye jachta tha (I’d always think that she could do better).”
On work front, Priyanka is currently working on the second season of 'Citadel'.
