Model testifies against actor Inder Kumar in rape case

Actor Inder Kumar had been accused by a 25-year-old model of raping her twice in 2014. According to a report in Mid-day.com, the model deposed at a special women's court on Thursday.
The actor was accused by the girl in 2014 and a case was registered against him. She had alleged that the actor had raped and brutally assaulted her twice in a period of three days by promising her leading roles in Bollywood movies. According to sources mentioned in the report, the girl testified before the court about the whole incident, identifying Inder Kumar as the one who assaulted her.
Actor Inder Kumar arrested in 'rape' case
The charges filed against Kumar were framed by the same court which was presided over by Special Judge A S Shende. Inder Kumar is being tried under Sections 376 (rape), 342 (wrongful confinement), 324 (voluntarily causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means), 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506(ii) (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code.
It is also mentioned that the model had claimed that the actor had assaulted and hit her with a beer bottled and she was confined to the actor's house for a night. She had claimed that the burn wounds on her body were caused by the actor who burnt her with lighted cigarettes.
