The 11th edition of the Goa Marathi Film Festival (GMFF) came to an end on Sunday, with the screening of the closing film Savita Damodar Paranjape, directed by Swapna Waghmare Joshi, and produced by
John Abraham, at Kala Academy. Present at the event were several Marathi celebrities, such as Subodh Bhave, Rakesh Bapat, Trupti Toradmal, Chhaya Kadam, Aarti Chabria,
Sonali Kulkarni, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Kalyanee Mulay and Swapnil Bandodkar.
National award winners like
Prasad Oak (director of Kaccha Limbu), Suyansh Shinde (director of the short film Mayat and Pavsacha Nimbadh), and Sanket Sonavane (director of Dhappa) were felicitated the the event.
The trailer of the Konkani film Amizade was also launched at the ceremony by Minister of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Shripad Naik.
