Tom Hardy, the ‘Venom’ actor, revealed the list of injuries and health woes. The 47-year-old spoke about the sufferings and surgeries he has undergone over the years. While Tom has been building up strength and following the plans, he admitted that he has one bad addiction - he vapes.
What injuries does Tom Hardy have?
In a candid conversation with Esquire magazine, Tom Hardy listed the injuries by stating, “I've had two knee surgeries now, my disc's herniated in my back, I've got sciatica as well.”
“And I have that… is it plantar fasciitis? [inflammation of foot tissue].
Where did that come from? And why? Why?!” he added.
“And I pulled my tendon in my hip as well. It's like, it's all falling to bits now, and it's not going to get better. Unless you do all the stem cells…” Hardy continued.
Tom Hardy and his vape
Additionally, Hardy went on to give a ‘biopsy’ of his body - its “ two vapes, somebody else’s clothes, and a hotel room that neither of us feels comfortable in.” Previously, Tom had confirmed that the knee surgery was the result of practising jiu-jitsu and stunts on the sets.
As the interview evolved, the need for a vape kicked in. In the interview, Tom stopped in the mid-answer to 'wheeze' and then 'suck' on the vape before continuing, according to Daily Mail.
Oh, the list doesn’t end
Furthermore, the ‘Peaky Blinders’ actor continued by saying that he has been facing loss of hair, his teeth were loose and the knees were getting weaker, and he took Sudafed to fight dizziness on the day of the interview.
Earlier this month, during an interview with Hits Radio UK's Will Best, Tom confirmed that the hair on his head doesn’t belong to him. When Best said, “You've got your own hair and everything,” Hardy responded, “I've got someone else's.” However, he did not reveal the details of whether they were a transplant or a wig.
