Subhrajit Mitra is donning the director’s hat for ‘Avijatrik—The Wanderlust of Apu’, based entirely on the concluding part of ‘Aparajito’ by Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay. The story will take off from where ‘Apur Sansar’ ended.
While ‘Ahaa Re’ actor Arifin Shuvoo will be seen as Apu, Arpita will essay the role of Leela along with Sreelekha Mitra as Ranu di. Sabyasachi Chakraborty plays Apu’s friend and TV actress Dwitipriya Ray will be seen as Aparna.
‘Abhijatrik’ is presented by renowned Bollywood producer Madhur Bhandarkar and produced by Gourongo Films.
