AIADMK MLA slams govt for closing down Amma clinics

Chennai: AIADMK MLA Amman K Arjunan on Tuesday said the health department, which shut down Amma clinics set up by the AIADMK govt for identifying spaces in crematoriums, has built a primary health centre inside a burial ground.
At least 2,000 Amma mini clinics were started to ensure easy access for people.
When the DMK came to power, the project was shelved, he said.
"A PHC in Tiruppur is built inside the burial ground. I can provide evidence too," he said.
