In a tragic accident on Jhansi-Kanpur National Highway 27, six people died and two were injured when their car collided with a truck. The driver reportedly fell asleep near Somai Girthan, causing the vehicle to cross the divider and collide head-on with the oncoming truck. The victims, en route from Bahraich to Bengaluru, included Brajesh, his wife, son, and relatives.

In a tragic incident in Jhansi, a father and his only son drowned in the Betwa river while attempting to take a selfie. Anshul, lost his balance and fell into the river, causing the boat to capsize. Rakesh, jumped in to save him, but both drowned. Three other family members were rescued by locals.
