Stephen Curry addressed reporters at the Game 4 postgame presser and praised Jimmy Butler’s display of string willpower and determination after returning from a one-game break. He also praised Brandin Podziemski for propelling the team to success. He also walked the reporters through the team’s mindset when they were provoked by opponents, leading to a technical foul.

Stephen Curry was in complete awe of his teammate Jimmy Butler’s performance in Game 4 who was on a one-game break following an injury. Butler put up a great play leading the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 with 27/6/5 line. He also converted all the free throws, adding significantly to team’s winning score. Talking about Butler’s incredible strength, Stephen Curry said:
“Sheer determination and will you know we held it down in game 3 and I know he wanted to be out there and injuries um are are tough especially in the playoffs. Um but for him to gut through first half and get the wheels going and then get turned up. second half both ends of the floor. It's it's why he is who he is and why he means so much to us.”

Stephen Curry took the press to the key moments of the match and explained how their teamwork helped them sail through the game, and win it eventually.
When asked: “Brandon was really good today on both ends. Um, what you see from him tonight?”
He replied: “Yeah, we had I mean I could spend all day talking about him buddy, you know, Drayon stopped down the stretch, talked about Jimmy, uh, you know, QP and coming in hitting a couple big ones and momentum, but you know, everybody contributed a level that we need and that's the playoffs.
Every game has a different identity and a different feel. It's hard to predict how it's going to look, but you have to have five guys who on the floor ready to for their moment. BP did that. There were certain matchups that he he liked and took advantage of it. Made some timely shots for us. All you want is everybody be confident to, you know, take open shots, you know, play the way that they see fit and just bring energy. And he did that from the from the jump.”

In addition to acknowledging amazing performances by Jimmy Butler and Brandin Podziemski, Stephen Curry also talked about the heated moments the team encountered during Game 4. When asked about technical foul and physicality of the opponent team, he said:
“every game has been physical and there's been moments uh then you expect two teams not like each other at this point like four games in physical series every game is just a battle what you expect when you know everybody's competing at a high level you don't want the antics to distract from the game.

And I think we did a good job of bouncing back in the second half and not letting, you know, those type of episodes really get under our skin at all and channel that energy in the right direction. So that's what a a good team can do and we we did that in a second.”
All these revelations from Curry point out the winner mindset with which the Golden State Warriors played against the Houston Rockets. The Warriors beat the Rockets 109-106, leading the series 3-1.
