Days Gone Remastered has reignited the fight for survival with the new brutal challenges. It is one of the most punishing additions within Days Gone Remastered. The Permadeath mode erases your save file, if the Deacon died, even once. The mode takes inspiration from the fan demand and comes with 2 settings.

Bend Studio has warned that the trees in the mode are the deadliest threat in the mode. To survive the challenge, scavenge constantly while you avoid any reckless fights and give priority to the Tucker’s camp early on for better weapons.
