Rondell Sheridan, the ‘That’s So Raven’ alum, has been diagnosed with severe pancreatitis. The 66-year-old comedian shared a video on Instagram, updating fans about his health conditions and leaving fans concerned.

What did Rondell Sheridan say?

In the Instagram video, Sheridan stated, “On April 10th, I was on the road and got sick. Went to the hospital, and they thought it was gastric. I got home on the 12th and immediately went to the hospital at North Ridge and was told it’s pancreatitis,” while he was in his hospital bed. “Tons of tests. I was in the hospital for nine days. I got released and thought I was on the road to recovery, but… my pancreas is inflamed, and there’s not much you can do about it, but just wait,” he continued.

Furthermore, Sheridan pleaded with the fans to donate an amount as he does not have work due to hospitalisation. The actor created a ‘GoFundMe’ fundraiser so that he could pay the amount for the bills, seeking support from the fans. At the moment, it has managed to gain more than $47,000 even though the goal was $35,000. “I didn’t realise I was going to be, and will be, out of work for quite some time,” he added in the clip. “I’m setting up this GoFundMe to help with some of my medical bills and just expenses. If you have anything that you could donate, I’d gladly appreciate it. Thank you so much,” Rondell concluded. The raiser has been set up by his friend Isabel Beyoso, who said that Rondell hasn’t been well enough to go to work since mid-April and will likely be bedridden for a while. One comment under the Instagram video read, “Praying for you to get better soon my favorite TV Dad.” Another mentioned, “Rondell I had no idea. I’m so sorry. Get better soon.”A third expressed, "Wishing you well Brother! We all grew up watching you and you are a staple in our childhoods. Praying for your recovery and GET WELL SOON."
