Chandrayaan-3: Isro completes critical trans lunar injection

Marking an important step in the Chandrayaan-3 mission, Isro has completed the critical trans-lunar injection of the spacecraft. Chandrayaan-3 is now on a five-day journey to Moon. The next step in the mission will be the lunar orbit insertion that is planned for August 5. Isro will perform a series of manoeuvres to bring Chandrayaan-3 down to the desired 100km circular orbit around the moon.
