Tahawwur Rana Extradition: BJP and Congress Locked in War of Words to Claim Credit

BJP and Congress are leaving no stones unturned to claim credit for the extradition of Tahawwur Rana, one of the key masterminds of the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. While BJP leaders are claiming that the extradition became possible due to PM Modi and the Centre’s efforts, several Congress leaders are saying that the process was initiated by the UPA regime around 15 years back. Rana was extradited to India on Thursday (April 10) after a lengthy legal battle in the US.
