Jabalpur suicide case: Victim’s parents narrate ordeal, demand justice

Narrating the ordeal they went through over their daughter’s suicide case in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, parents of Jabalpur suicide case victim on June 10 briefed on the entire incident. Recalling the matter, the victim’s father said that the arrested youth was forcing his daughter to marry him and change his religion. Both the parents further demanded strict action against the boy arrested in connection to the case.“I was attending a family function on 04. When we came back home, we found her hung in the room. The boy called me a few days back and told me to tell my daughter to call him back. He was targeting her and asked her to marry him and convert her religion,” Victim’s father said. As the investigation continues to unfold the Jabalpur suicide case, the police recently arrested an accused who was blackmailing the victim.
