Centre expanding irrigation projects in J&K: Shobha Karandlaje

The Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shobha Karandlaje on September 18 said that in coming days, Jammu and Kashmir will be self-sufficient in pulses, vegetables and cereals. “In coming days, J&K will be self-sufficient in pulses, vegetables and cereals. We're also expanding our irrigation projects. A dam is being constructed which will provide irrigation water to one lakh acres of land in Kathua and Samba districts,” said Shobha Karandlaje.
