In the video that she shared on Instagram, Navya announced that she has completed her quarantine phase and has recovered from

COVID-19

. Thanking her family, fans and everyone for the wishes and prayers, Navya said the ‘scenario out there is not good’ and urged everyone to be careful and stay safe. She added, “Corona is curable but trust me you don’t want to take so many medicines and live in a bunker like an outcast. So remember this golden line – ‘Prevention is better than cure’.”

“I’ve realized that this is more of a mental fight than a physical one. So, I chose to be strong and fight it out. There is panic in my neighbourhood, too. Everyone’s like ‘don’t touch that, don’t touch this, don’t come out, stay away from here’. Okay, I get the reality but it really hurts if you get treated like that. It is more painful than the disease,” Navya told ETimes-TV in one of her recent interactions.

Her Aame Katha co-star

Ravikrishna

, who also subsequently tested positive COVID-19, also shared her video on his Instagram stories and congratulated her.

Ravikrishna has announced his recovery much earlier. The shoot of Aame Katha was suspended for a while after both its lead actors were tested positive for COVID-19. Navya and Ravi reportedly tested COVID-19 after they had shot for the game show Parivaar League season 2 hosted by ace anchor Jhansi.
