Popular TV show ‘Thalattu’ to go off-air soon; actress Shruthi Raj turns emotional

The popular television serial Thalattu is going to end its journey soon. The special climax episode of the daily soap will air shortly.
The makers have a special surprise for the audience. The show will air a four-hour-long special episode. Wishes have been pouring in for the team from fans on social media as the show is approaching its finale episode.

Regarding the show's new milestone and mega climax, actress Shruthi Raj said, "I am extremely happy about Thalattu reaching a new milestone.Thank you so much to Tele-audience for supporting us and it's really so emotional to me that Isaipriya is soon going to end. The complete journey in the TV serial gave life to my career."
The show, which premiered in April 2021, is going to end after airing over 720 episodes.
The TV serial stars Krishna, Shruthi Raj, Sri Latha, Sridevi Ashok, Sarvesh Raghav, Dharani, and Rishi Keshav in lead roles along with Tharshika, Sahana Shetty, Vineeth Sundaram, Bharatha Naidu, Suresh Joshua, Mohan Sharma, Sunitha, Nathan Shyam, K. S.Jayalakshmi, Karpagavalli, Arunkumar Padmanabhan, Shravan, Nithya Ravindran, Sandra Babu, Haripriya Isai, Nila Gracy, Vincent Roy, Meenakshi, and Navindhar in the supporting roles. The series is written and directed by Prathap Mani.

The story is all about Vijayakrishnan, who has never experienced the love of a mother as he was separated from her at a young age. Despite having a loving family with his wife Isaipriya, Vijay feels a void in his life due to the absence of his mother. However, when his mother enters their home as a maid, Vijay's life takes a drastic turn. Will Isaipriya be able to reunite mother and son? That is the central conflict of the story.

Meanwhile, Isaipriya faces challenges of her own as her father rejects her for marrying Vijay. Despite this, she manages to overcome all obstacles with her kindness and empathy, especially towards Thayamma, who works as a maid in their home and happens to be Vijay's real mother.
