Anita Date, popular as Radhika from Mazhya Navryachi Bayko urges her fans to celebrate the festival of Diwali in an eco-friendly way.
In an exclusive chat with TimesofIndia.com, Anita described her real-life incident related to bursting crackers. The actress revealed that her sister was the one who stopped her from bursting crackers. She said, “During my childhood days, I used to love playing with crackers.
But I remember an incident that happened when I was in my 6th grade. My sister got an infection due to the smoke of the crackers and that was the moment I realized that how the crackers can seriously cause harm to your dear ones. So I urge to all my fans to celebrate the festival of Diwali without bursting the crackers.”
She also shared about what she loves the most in this festival. “I love to eat
Chakali,
Shankarpali and all the dishes in the
faral. But I don’t know whether I would get the time to make so many
faral dishes this time due to the shooting schedule. Still, I will try to make one or two dishes at home.” Anita plays the role of the female protagonist, Radhika in the show Mazhya Navryachi Bayko.
