In an exclusive conversation with BT, Tanvi opened up about the reason behind her break from TV, "I was always shooting and so I missed out on a lot of things. Whenever I used to go to school, I didn't have too many friends because kids had already formed their groups. I was never part of any group. I missed out on hanging out with friends or bunking classes in college. That's the reason why I took a break from acting after a certain age because I wanted to do things that regular kids did. I wanted to find friends who would be with me for who I am and not because I was an actor. I am glad that I eventually made some good friends who I am close to even now."
