Bharat Jadhav remembers late actor Laxmikant Berde on his death anniversary; shares a heartwarming note

Renowned actor Laxmikant Berde needs no introduction. He was known for his work in Marathi and Hindi cinema. On the occasion of his 16th death anniversary today (December 16), Sukhi Mansacha Sadara actor-comedian Bharat Jadhav has joined the film and TV fraternity in paying a tribute to the celebrated actor.

Bharat shared a throwback picture with Laxmikant Berde on Instagram and wrote, "There are so many memories. The way he welcomed and supported the newcomers like us... he was our star, but he never let us know. That's why we could call him Mama. I learned a lot from him. The biggest memory to tell him about is the haunted movie Pachadlela. 'Sahi re Sahi' was going on tremendously. Similarly, in January 2003, Mahesh Kothare asked me for Pachadlela. And he wanted to start working right away. I wanted to do as many plays as possible of Sahi Re Sahi in that one year till August 2003, so I refused him. A few months went by, and in the first week of September, I got a call from Lakshya Mama saying, "Did you get the world record of the play etc ... if yes, then go and meet Mahesh quickly, and I stopped him for you ... Don't leave that movie." Then, late that night, I visited Mahesh Kothare at his house. And from there, I let Lakshya Mama know that I am doing Pachadlela. The point to make is, he was such a big personality ... he could have taken anyone. But they gave me such a great opportunity. I consider him a blessing to the bereaved".
Bharat Jadhav and Laxmikant Berde together entertained the audience with the superhit Marathi film Pachadlela. Bharat, who considers Laxmikant Berde as his inspiration, proved today that he misses him the most.
Bharat is currently playing the character of Chiman in Sukhi Mansacha Sadara.
