Rani Padmini Devi to premiere on August 24
Joining the ever-growing list of dubbed shows on Kannada television, Rani Padmini Devi is all set to treat viewers from August 24 at 12:30pm. Popular Telugu television fiction series Aame Katha, which is being aired since November 2019 on a Telugu entertainment channel, is now being dubbed in Kannada as Rani Padmini Devi.

Krishna in lead roles. Navya Swamy started her career from the Kannada television industry with the serial Thangalli in the year 2011, before she got opportunities to work in Telugu small screen. Recently, both these
actors
were tested positive for Covid-19, after they recovered, they have resumed shooting in
Telangana.
The serial is an edge-of-the-seat thriller about the life of an energetic middle-class girl, who had to take up the responsibility of the household, due to unavoidable circumstances. She gets married to a person with whom she is in love, but eventually, he turns out to be deceitful. However, without losing hope, the female protagonist tries to find out the truth behind him cheating on her.
Dubbed shows which were facing opposition from local actors and technicians have flooded Kannada television since the lockdown period. To start with, Malgudi Days and
Mahabharata
were aired. Now, every Kannada general entertainment channel has its own dubbed show. Dubbed shows which have become popular among audiences are Mahabarata,
Radhe Krishna and Mahanayaka, which narrate the life story of Dr B R Ambedkar. Social dramas like Lakshmi Stores and thriller shows like
Drushti
are making their presence felt on the small screen.
