Kannada soap Nayaki goes off air

Kannada soap opera Nayaki is the latest to go off air. The serial, which has Deepak Mahadev, Kavyasri, Lakshmi Siddaiah, Bhaskar and Rachana Gowda in lead roles, is directed by Shashidhar K.
According to channel sources, since the dynamics of TRP ratings have changed since the lockdown period and due to poor ratings, the channel has decided to stop airing the serial. The story revolves around Suryavardha who makes money through illegal means and wants his wealth to stay with him throughout his life.Based on the advice of an astrologer, he orders his henchman to kill a girl (Nayaki) who is the real owner of all the property.
