Shivaji Satam pledges body donation

Shivaji Satam aka 'ACP Pradyuman' from Sony Entertainment's landmark television show ‘CID’, is a softy at heart and feels deeply for those who are victims of circumstances and can’t afford a healthy living. He has gone all out and pledged his organs for the benefit of others who truly deserve it.

“I don’t consider this as extraordinary. I think it is every individual’s duty and responsibility to work towards the greater good of humanity by helping our fellow citizen in whatever way we can.There are times when a person, even though he wants to but can’t extend a helping hand because his circumstances restrict him. But pledging an organ is something that everyone can do as its independent of all internal and external environments. Such good deed fills up both your soul and heart with content, peace and happiness. I can never forget that feeling. It is still so vividly etched in my memory when on 27 March 2015, I pledged for my whole body donation with a renowned hospital. I hope that more people take up such good cause and at least pledge an organ, if not the entire body so that we can help hundred others who need all our help” said veteran Shivaji Satam.
This act of kindness will definitely inspire Satam’s many admirers to go ahead and pledge their organs besides making a special place for the actor in their hearts.
