Namratha Hegde ka number aa gaya

Namratha Hegde, who was last seen in Mere Ghar Aayi Ek Nanhi Pari, is busy down South with her movie assignments. But Mumbai remains her first love when it comes to work.
This youngster, who completed her MBA from Ohio University, was very clear about what she wanted to do in life. “It had to be the creative world for me. I always knew I’d be part of the entertainment industry.I wanted to be an actress and here I am,” she says. Incidentally, Namratha has been quite a lucky girl often winning contests and lucky dips. “I won two contests in Mumbai some time ago. One was the Kambakkth Ishq contest where I won Kareena Kapoor’s designer dress from the film and the other was the Kaminey contest where I got to meet Shahid Kapoor,” she says. Well, that’s some co-incidence, we must say. Now, Namratha is eagerly waiting for lady luck to smile upon her again, this time may be with a plum role in Mumbai.
