It has been a long time since we have been watching the crime based show - CID. Despite the heavy fictional content and over the top acting, the show has had ardent fans over the years.
After many other crime shows coming in, CID has witnessed a dip in its TRP's, which had been a cause of worry for the channel. Earlier, there were reports that the show would go off air, but much to everyone's surprise it was just Hrishikesh Pandey, Tanya Abrol and Abhay Shukla who were asked to leave the show, while the show continued to air.
