Confirming the news to BT, producer Rajan Shahi says, “We have decided to end the show sometime next month. We were aware of the risk involved while making an experimental and quirky show like this. Though it did not do as well as I expected, I am happy that we experimented with a different genre. It was an enriching and positive experience for the team and me. The idea is to make shows with conviction, which work sometimes and fail the other times, but it’s important to keep innovating.”

The lead actor Paras Arora who plays the role of Guddu in Baavle Utaavle was quoted saying, “Unfortunately, the revamp failed to generate ratings, but I am happy as an artiste. This experience was more satisfying than the daily soaps, as I got to explore my craft. Comedy isn’t an easy genre. I have been part of long-running shows in the past, but even the biggest of actors can’t guarantee you the longevity of a show.”
The show was launched in February 2019 and featured Paras and Shivani in lead roles. The makers tried their best to revamp their show but the TRP ratings dropped tremendously. The makers then decided to pull the plug.
