Punjabi actress-singer Nimrat Khaira, starring in the upcoming film 'Akaal: The Unconquered,' found a newfound interest in history, particularly the Sikh Empire, while preparing for her role. The film, set in 1840s Punjab, presents the story of Sardar Akaal Singh, his village's resilience, and an assault by Jangi Jahan's forces.

Punjabi veteran actor Sardar Sohi who is known for his work in a number of pictures like ‘Ardaas Karan’, ‘Asees’, ‘Aate Di Chidi’ and more, will now be dipping his toes in a new field. He is all set to make his debut in the field of singing.
