The 21st International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) will feature a set of films by celebrated women film makers across the globe.
The sixth day of the International Film of Kerala (IFFK) will screen 62 movies under various categories. The first screening of controversial film ‘Ka Bodyscapes’ directed by Jayan Cheriyan will be held at Tagore Theatre at 11am on Wednesday.
Two Malayalam films have been chosen for the international competition section of the 21st edition of the International Film festival of Kerala (IFFK) scheduled to be held in Thiruvananthapuram between December 9 and 16. The films are Manhole directed by debutant Vidhu Vincent and Kaadu Pookkunna Neram directed by by Dr Biju.
In the continuing strong relation between Assamese cinema and literature, 'Ishu' is a big screen adaptation of Manikuntala Bhattacharjya's children's novel of the same name.
Assamese film ‘Bridge’ by Kripal Kalita won a special jury mention award at the 51st International Film Festival of India (IFFI) — the second Assamese film to receive such a recognition at the festival after Santwana Bardoloi-directed ‘Adajya’ in 1996. The latter had received the jury award.
