He demanded Rs 25 lakh compensation for each victim. Police registered a case against the accused and arrested them. Mathura Police denied any stone pelting on Azad's convoy.

A Meerut couple has been sentenced to life imprisonment for killing a property dealer by setting him and two others on fire in 2016. The couple was found guilty by the district and sessions court based on the testimony of 10 witnesses and the dying declaration of one of the victims.

A campaign to relocate stray bulls to shelter homes will be launched to address the issue. In the past six months, 15 people have been killed in similar attacks across Western UP districts.

A dozen people, including a cop, were injured when two group clashed in Masuri's Raghunathpur area over an old rivalry. As many as 17 people were arrested for rioting. Police have been deployed in the area since the incident to avoid any untoward incidents.
