India and Pakistan have agreed to halt all military actions across land, air, and sea, effective from 17:00 hours IST on Saturday. This understanding was reached during a call between the Directors General of Military Operations of both countries. The decision follows heightened tensions, including India's 'Operation Sindoor' in response to a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.

External Affairs Minister Jaishankar announced that India and Pakistan have reached an understanding to halt firing and military actions, reaffirming India's firm stance against terrorism. This agreement followed a call initiated by Pakistan's DGMO, with both sides agreeing to cease military activity on land, air, and sea.

Tensions between India and Pakistan de-escalated as US President Trump announced a "full and immediate ceasefire" brokered by the United States. This follows heightened conflict, including India's response to drone attacks from Pakistan and 'Operation Sindoor,' a counterterror action targeting terror camps.
